Social Justice Sunday 2017

Social Justice Sunday is on September 24, 2017 and the Australian Catholic Social Justice Council is preparing for the launch of the Australian Catholic Bishops’ Social Justice Statement 2017–2018, ‘Everyone’s Business: Developing an inclusive and sustainable economy’.

 
Guidelines for the Celebration of the Sacraments with People with Disability

The Australian Catholic Bishops Conference has launched "Guidelines for the Celebration of the Sacraments with People with Disability."

 
Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide

Copies of the “Pastoral Letter to the Catholics of Victoria” regarding euthanasia and assisted suicide was distributed to all parishes earlier this year.  Further to this letter are two documents, "When Life is Ending" and "Real care, love and compassion:  the alternative to euthanasia", which will also be distributed to parishes.
