Ballarat families who may not have been able to celebrate Christmas will receive a special gift this year.

Three and a half thousand young people and leaders contributed to the success of the 2nd Australian Catholic Youth Festival held recently in Adelaide.

Everyone deserves to wake up on Christmas morning and feel a sense of hope for a special gift, a meal with loved ones and warmth and safety.

The combined Catholic Parishes of Ballarat have again this year been able to beautifully present nativity cribs from all over the world with the ‘Making a Scene at Christmas’ event.

On Wednesday, December 2, the Mother Xavier Flood Early Learning Centre officially opened for prep and grade 1 students. 

Recently, St Patrick’s Cathedral Parish Ballarat celebrated the baptism of adult catechumens and the reception into full communion of candidates, as well as the baptism of children. 

On Sunday, December 6 thirty-three students accompanied by two priests and three teachers from Tonga visited Mildura.
