The staffs from all schools in the Ballarat region attended a Beginning of the School Year Mass on Wednesday, January 24.

Ray Frawley, well known in both the Catholic and wider communities of Ballarat, died suddenly on January 28, aged 62. 

St Columba’s Parish, Ballarat North recently welcomed their new Pastoral Associate - Kate Finn,  who is introduced here for E-news readers.

Next week the Diocese will enjoy a brief visit from Monsignor Bruce Harbert, an international scholar and liturgist,  who will speak in Warrnambool and Ballarat about the new English translation of the Roman Missal.  

The Diocesan clergy held their Annual Retreat in January with Fr. Frank Brennan S.J. as Retreat Director. Fr. Ed Moloney shares the experience with us.

Five members of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission attended the National Liturgical Conference held in Perth from February 4 – 7. The Conference focused on the new English translation of the Roman Missal.
