Workshops: The workshops are offered twice so participants can choose two of the three:

  • Launch of the Guidelines for the Use of Visual Display Systems in Liturgical Celebrations:  In many of our Ballarat diocesan churches, we are fortunate to have visual display systems. However, as with anything new being added to something very old, we sometimes need to explore how to meld the two together and ensure that those gathered in prayer are able to participate fully, consciously and actively in the liturgy being celebrated.

  • Praying Scripture in the Liturgy:  This workshop responds to Vatican II’s invitation to all of us to engage more closely with Scripture, whether we are proclaiming the Word, listening to the Word or preparing for the Liturgy. This workshop will look at the role of Scripture in the Liturgy and how we can engage with Scripture in a prayerful way.

  • RCIA:  On overview of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and the role of the parish.
