Clergy Health & Wellbeing

The primary aim of this role is to support Ballarat diocesan priests to foster and maintain a healthy lifestyle at all stages of ministry.  This applies to all clergy, whether they are in active ministry, experiencing illness or retired.

For those who are actively serving parish communities, the promotion of general well-being is paramount.  Ongoing support and assistance is offered to help maintain healthy ministries that continue to be life-giving for both priests and the communities in which they serve.

For those who are ill or retired, support through a variety of practical measures and continued care is provided. This is often in conjunction with a Care facility, hospital, family, friends and the wider parish community.
