Parish News
Fr George Kuruvila’s final ceremony at St Joseph’s in Timboon was a special occasion, as he celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation with Natasha Oto Muliawan and later welcomed her to receive her First Holy Communion.
Over the past several months, Natasha prepared for these important milestones in her faith journey with the support and guidance of her parents. As part of her preparation, she completed the Let the Children Come program provided by the Diocese.
This was a significant and grace-filled moment for Natasha, her family, and our parish community. We congratulate her on receiving these sacraments and pray that she will continue to grow in faith, deepen her relationship with Christ, and remain active in the life of the Church.
We thank her parents for their commitment to her faith formation and assure Natasha of our prayers and support as she continues her journey of discipleship.
Fr George Kuruvila has been appointed as the Parish Priest of Sts Joachim and Anne, Sunraysia Parish and Fr Ed Moloney will make the move to the Parish of Our Lady of Mercy and Peace, Heartland Parish. Both Fr George and Fr Ed will take up their appointments for the weekend of October 31/November 1, 2026. Please pray for Fr George and Fr Ed as they make this transition to these new appointments.
