Prayer for Remembrance Day

Father of peace,

we pray for those who have served to protect our great Southern Land;

we commend to your mercy those who died for our freedom;

we pray for the safety of those who are currently serving in the defence forces;

we pray for peace throughout the world.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
