The annual Parish Mass of Remembrance was held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 to remember those we have lost and love who lay at rest in the Pootilla (Bungaree) Cemetery.
Fr Justin Driscoll celebrated Mass for the many parishioners and visitors who came to remember family and friends who have died. Due to the inclement weather, the decision was made to celebrate Mass at St Michael’s Church, Bungaree.
Once again our very talented local musicians led us in song throughout the Mass – Pat Prendergast, Kaylene Rumler, Mary Slater, Brenda Oostendorp, Mary Slater and Majella Muller – and made the Mass even more special with their wonderful music and singing.
Thank you to Fr Justin for leading us in this beautiful celebration, the singers, the musicians, those who assisted with ministries during the Mass, the Parish Leadership Team and all who assisted in the organisation of the morning. Fr Justin’s homily from the Mass can be downloaded below.
