Archbishop Charles Balvo is on a week long visit to the diocese. He arrived in Ballarat on Palm Sunday and will head home on Easter Sunday. He is spending the week meeting people of the diocese while attending Holy Week events including concelebrating the Mass of the Oils and Holy Thursday Mass.
Archbishop Charles is also meeting different agencies of the diocese along with members of parishes. He met with DOBCEL and CatholicCare Victoria on Tuesday, celebrated the Anointing Mass at Mercy Place Ballarat, attended a follow up gathering for the Assembly at Buninyong and a Professional Standards Panel Meeting on Wednesday. He will concelebrate the Holy Week liturgies at the Cathedral. He is being kept very occupied.
