Each year, many people begin the journey toward becoming Catholic.
Some are inspired by the example of a Catholic friend or the warmth of a parish community.
Others feel a spiritual calling or seek deeper meaning and purpose in their lives.
Whatever has drawn you to explore the Catholic faith, know that you are very welcome.
We’re excited to walk alongside you as you discover more about Jesus and what it means to belong to the Catholic Church.
What are the steps?
Becoming Catholic is a significant life decision, and the process is designed to be gradual—typically taking about a year.
You’re free to take your time and can change your mind at any point.
- Find a parish community you feel comfortable with.
You might already know a Catholic who can help guide you. Reach out to or visit the parish and arrange a conversation with the priest. You’ll be introduced to a group of others on the same journey and a team ready to support you. - Begin exploring your relationship with Jesus through prayer and reading the Bible.
You’re encouraged to attend Mass, join in prayer opportunities, participate in social events, and get involved in parish life. - Ask questions—lots of them!
Your new community is here to support and encourage you every step of the way.
