The Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) Christmas Market at Emmanuel College Warrnambool was a great success, bringing festive cheer to our College community. Thanks to the generosity and support of students and staff, the students proudly raised over $300 for MacKillop Family Services with the proceeds presented to Emmanuel College alumni Alana Umbers, MacKillop’s Warrnambool-based carer recruitment and development coordinator.
The market offered a delightful range of hand-baked Christmas treats, including honey joys, traditional Christmas cakes, and buttery shortbread, all lovingly prepared by VPC students and staff. In addition to the baked goods, also sold were beautifully handcrafted wooden Christmas trees and decorations, which were a favourite among buyers.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported the fundraiser—your involvement made the market a heartfelt celebration of community and giving – this generosity will help make Christmas brighter for vulnerable children and families.
