On Friday, June 12, 2026 the Dean Hall & Mechanics Institute was filled with community spirit at the much-loved Big Spud Dinner.
St Mary’s Primary School Clarkes Hill was proud to host the children’s table, where younger attendees enjoyed colouring and playdough activities throughout the night. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces as families came together to celebrate.
With the support of Bryden and Melinda, kids enjored the fantastic showbags, which were a highlight of the night.
From viewing the creative entries in the ‘Big Spud’ competition, to enjoying a variety of delicious potato dishes, the evening was a great success. Importantly, funds raised will contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the Dean Hall for the whole community to enjoy.
