The Mini Vinnies team at St Patrick’s Primary School in Port Fairy has hit the ground running in 2026, already making a strong impact through thoughtful, student-led action within their local community.
In the lead-up to Easter, students took the initiative to connect with Western District Food Share, ensuring their efforts would directly support families experiencing hardship. Through their fundraising and
organisation, the group donated Easter treats along with a generous $200 contribution. These were included in emergency food hampers, providing essential three-day food supplies while also bringing a
sense of care and dignity during the Easter period.
