Catholic Social Teachings at OLHC School Warrnambool

Catholic Social Teachings are practiced and endeavoured to be made explicit at Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School community, Warrnambool East.  The See, Judge, Act method developed by Belgian Cardinal Joseph Cardijn, encourages us to explore our understandings and beliefs of our Catholic Social Teachings as we respond to various social issues presented to us.

Our Catholic teachings are the basis of what we see, judge and act upon making our social action and justice program reflective, experienced and awareness raising.

CARE FOR OUR COMMON HOMESOLIDARITY – COMMON GOOD – SUBSIDIARITY – HUMAN DIGNITY – PREFERENTIAL OPTION FOR THE POOR

The COVID-19 epidemic has impacted on the way some of our year five and six students have viewed vulnerable members of our community. In some cases, including themselves.

You are invited to view what our students have been reflecting upon, whilst they have been home learning.
