Liturgy Formation at South West Coast Parish: November 13, 2022
The Diocesan Liturgical Commission will present Liturgy Formation on Sunday Assembly of Word & Communion and scripture reflection at St Joseph’s Gathering Space, Warrnambool on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
Program for the day:

| 12.05pm | Introduction by Bishop Paul based on the letter Pope Francis issued in June this year on the liturgical formation of the People of God |
| 1.00pm | Lunch – will be supplied by parish |
| 1.45pm – 2.45pm | Sunday Assembly of Word & Communion Workshop In this workshop we will look at the value of coming together as a community to hear the Word of God and receive Communion. We will look at the practical resources available to help those who lead the Sunday Assemblies and the skills we need to read the Scriptures and prayers well |
| 2.45pm – 3.45pm | Scripture Reflection – presented by Fr John McKinnon After addressing any initial questions and fears, we may discuss what we can reasonably expect of ourselves: My suggestion is that we share our personal insights into what the Scripture reading[s] stirred in us. We can then discuss how we might fruitfully prepare for that role, and what resources we may find of help. |
