World Day for Audiovisual Heritage 2021

October 27 was “World Day for Audiovisual Heritage 2021,” and to celebrate the Australian Society of Archivist created a video of audiovisual knowledge for both beginners and professionals.

The Catholic Diocese of Ballarat archives was approached to take part in this event and to speak about the Fr Bob Markey film and audio collection held there. Dr Samantha Fabry discusses how this collection will be stored in the future. The video features: The NAA Audiovisual Preservation team, led by Caroline Ashworth, as mentioned Samantha Fabry from the Ballarat Diocesan Archives and also Andrew Martin from DAMSmar along with Mel Beggs from Channel 9.
